About Us
Community Compass is dedicated to combating and informing individuals about opioid use disorders and addiction. We strive to reduce opioid overdoses and substance-related fatalities.

Community Compass was created as part of the Region 5 Opioid Abatement Council, consisting of Eagle, Garfield, Lake, Pitkin, and Summit counties. This council prioritizes, distributes, and manages opioid settlement funds from the Colorado Attorney General’s office. The Council has dedicated funds to support Community Compass, as well as other initiatives that aim to reduce substance-related deaths, increase community awareness and utilization of substance use resources, and understand needs and gaps in the region's current approach to prevention and treatment.
